Joel Recio, born and raised in Vancouver has dedicated the last nine years to carpentry – a big change from his earlier career in corporate sales. After completing the Marketing Management Program at Douglas College, Joel found that working behind a desk wasn’t for him. He decided to change course and started helping a friend with renovations. As his skills grew he was able to move on and work for prominent construction companies building homes from form to finish.
A true adventure seeker, Joel spends his off hours cycling and snowboarding. You can find him camping with his girlfriend on long weekends, spoiling a good walk on the golf course or spending time in the kitchen cooking up a storm, and then eating it of course! Don’t worry, he is happy to share.
